as well as thrashers etc there was loads of skate fanzines in the 80s. who can name any of them (or even better scan some images somehwere!)?

I can remmeber (off the top of my head) Vert Urge, Rat House Locals, the one Ed Wenn out of the Stupids did (can't remember the title damn it!), Transitions, torn apart.... erm the brains gone...

Strange story, Ed from the Stupids was a good pal and I went to stay with him in London for a few days back in the 80s and we kept in touch for ages...then after about 12 years since we had previously spoke I got him on the phone when he called the opticians I was working for! He was in London I was in Newcastle...how strange!!

ALSO IF ANY ONE CAN REMEMBER I HAVE 3 ISSUES OF WIMP OUT (BRISTOL BASED, BLESS YOU MATT) 2 ISSUES OF 'SOUTH OF WATFORD' A 'VARIABLE TRANSITION' ISSUE 4 (BIRMINGHAM BASED I THINK) 2 X 'ERE WOT R THEY WHEELS' 'EAT YOUR FEET' NO 2 MANCHESTER  AREA, 2 ISSUES OF T.A.T. MY ZINE! 1 X 'FLORIAN BOHM AND CROSSED OUT CONVERSE' ISLE OF WIGHT SCOTT WILSON ZINE 3 X ISSUES OF BOG BREATH 2 X LOBSTER TELEHPONE (NOTTS BASED) AND A BONES BRIGADE INTELLIGENCE REPORT APRIL 89, THEY ARE GOOD TO READ AND THE DAY OF THE ZINE HAS PASSED, AT THE TIME IT WAS A WAY OF COMMUNICATING WITH SKATERS 'OUTTHERE' AS THERE WAS NO FUCKER ABOUT WHO WAS SKATING.
I HAVE OTHER OLD BITS LIKE A 'SKATELINE' NEWSLETTER SCOTTISH SKATE ASSOCIATION MAG FROM SUMMER 1980, GOOD PICS...

the classic rupert cartoon is by Stephen 'Budge' Burgess, where are you now?
i stuck in a few pics of old adverts etc.
