Time for some shit ,north of hadrians wall i think.  
I was a member right from when this legend opened. It  
was about 3/4 [width] of the 1988 euro finals vert ramp
which was held at the kelvin hall. I was also at that        
as well. Anyway, back to the church. It had various other stuff
such as  a mini spine , wall ride , over vert, midi ramp.  IT  
fucking ripped! Local boys Davie Phillips,Jamie Blair,Chimp and
others were my heros. Saw many greats skate it such as
Bod, Dosset ,Goff, Lee Ralph , Steve Claar, Danny Webster?, the Abrooks, and more. I think Tony Mag also skated it , when it first opened, but i wasn t there. Think Christain Welsh[the cunt behind it] fucked of with the cash , leaving the park to shut.  WANKER. Any memories?

For your information Kuni: no one that ran the church ever made any money from it. Christian Welsh didn't run off with 'the cash' the church never had any cash, and the guys that ran it put all of their own money into it to keep it going. When it closed it was due to pretty big mounting debts, the church wasnt supported by the big shop 'quarter back" who were raking it in from skateboarding but never gave a fuck about it..so i guess that's where the rumours came from...think about it..so you had some good times there? Why put the boot in then? You really know nothing about it.
