I had a middle page spread taken of me at warrington in one of the King Kong classic comps (I think) or maybe it was an ESA comp B group, anyway I can rember I was doing a frontside air and all you could see was my board and my shorts but it was definatly me, I lost that mag so a scan of that pic would be great if you or anybody else has one. It was april time either 86 or 87. I think it was before the Magazine shown. I came 1st in the B' group at Farnbourgh and it was before that. Hope that helps, Thanks Ashley.  |

right just rummaged through me mags,the farnboro' comp was in '86' , my collection seems to be a few early issues adrift from jan through to may, & that is bmx action bike, but as a long shot i checked the other part time skate mag at the time- freestyle bmx mag from sept '86' & the farnboro' comp is in there as well with your results listed as you won the 'B' group ramp. it's a 2 page black & white article with words & pics by mon . p.m. me your e-mail address for a scan....hope this has helped a little....boomer.  |

If anyone still has a collection of RAD's I'd like to know if a certain issue can be identified / someone has a spare – It has a page pic (OutThere section I believe) of Glen Flook doin' a hurricane down a set of stairs in either Harlow or SWF. He's sadly no longer with us, and I'd like to pick up a copy just for old time sake... from memory it was a summer issue - either August or July 87/88ish.... thanx!

hey i know its not likely but my mother threw out all my old mags...gutted i was .... im from stalbans and was in rad early days..the first time st albans featured in the mag loads of rod and a picture of a total natural call aaron probyn...im in there doing a melon over a dust bin not a very good pic as its of my but...if ya got it i would love a copy... still skate pioneer but when its closed to the public as its too busy for hoooooning a bout like a loon
