Seem to remember reading in Hawk's "Occupation:Skateboarder" that he runs Hawk's website too. Huh

From http://www.rayunderhill.com/

In late 2006 our friend, Ray Underhill, was diagnosed with a chordoma brain tumor, for which he has been receiving successful treatment. However, as part of his ongoing treatment, Ray and his family is traveling to California for continued radiation therapy.

The travel and medical expenses are more than what a normal family can afford, and we, his friends, co-workers, fellow skaters, and human beings would like to do what we can to help out in this stressful time.

ebaY Auction For Ray is LIVE NOW!

Tons of one-of-a-kind items are up for auction...it's the most amazing auction of skate memorabilia ever assembled.

100% of proceeds will go to Ray Underhill and his family.

R.I.P. Ray

After surgery, and several radiation and chemotherapy treatments, Ray passed away on Friday morning, August 1, 2008, at a hospital near his home in Wilmington, North Carolina.

http://www.rayunderhill.com/

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ray's memory may be made to the Chordoma Foundation, PO Box 4562, Greensboro, NC 27404-4562.

When I heard this news I was totally shocked, Ray was a friend who I meet some years ago when Skateboarding was Massive, over the years I travel out to the states and our paths would cross, he got us in to Fallbrook and Tony Hawks place on more than a few occasions, then he was my team manager at Gullwing trucks for some years until he headed back east to live.......He was a very mellow person who was so driven by skateboarding.....

Rest In Peace Ray, Your passing is so unfair and I'll never forget you........

All my thoughts to Ray's Wife and 2 young children.
