new skatepark?
« on: July 21, 2008, 12:23:13 PM »

im planning on moving to vancouver from london uk,and buiding a new concrete park as a commercial bussines.im 36 yrs old been skating for 20+ of those years and prefer transitional skating-going fast long n high as oppossed to flatground/flipps or plaza sk8in.
dont get me wrong i'll always streetsk8 but big hip transfers and fs smiths at 1000 mph in bowls will always do it for me.
as the park im buiding is gona be my bussines what do you think it needs to include to keep punters coming threw the door, ive designed and builts a few parks n ramps in the uk as i used to own a small park building co
what is the av-age of a vancouvian sk8er?-whats the bmx/sk8 relationship like in van. ?
i also need help with who to contact for insurance for comps and accomodation that id like to offer at the park.
is street sk8in in canada illegal? are american pitbull terriers (dogs) illegal ?
what happens when u get busted fro sk8in in canada?
whats van. like as a city-londons very ruff, meaning hardcore/violent,street violent crime has gone threw the roof, stabbing every 4 mins teenage gang crime going threw the roof-idiot kids arguing over zip codes cheap firearms available due to letting eastern europe join the EU cheap AK'S thanks to the lithuanians!!!
all the pubs in the suburbs are full of minor coke dealers etc-its pretty gim. im hoping vancouvers not like that -i'll guess i'll  see for myself when i get out there in the autumn.
