I remember bribing Davey for a T-shirt autograph in return for drections from the station to the swatch ramp at Fistral in Newquay one year, I don't think he was too pleased to be held to ransom by a grom like me - lol.

I know he was involved with Clan and Poizone with Jamie Blair but just wondered if he was still skating. He stayed at my house With Aljo and Cubic  a couple of times in the 80"s when Skating Warrington.

I've merged the 2 strands, so now everyone's confused.....

But, back to the point - is he still skating?

The bit about Ireland is right, I googled him a couple of years ago - Jamie Blair still owns clan and runs surfing safaris to the far north of Scotland. Me, I'm the one leaning forward next to Dan-Z. That was about a year after Livi opened - Andy Peerless, remember him, roller skater with a weird style (like heals together, not parallel)

Davie does indeed still skate - his silky tailslides have stunned many a flipkid. He's quite prolific on the Irish environmental front – here are a couple of links to projects he is heavily involved in:

http://www.sustainable.ie/

http://www.thevillage.ie/

I’ve skated with him a fair bit over the last 10 years or so – most recently in Bushy (Dublin) at the end of the summer.

I’ll give him a call and let him know you lads were asking for him. (Though I see this thread is a couple of years old – maybe you hooked up already…)

Cheers,

An old(ish) Dublin local
