the new (and hopefully) improved forum

Hi everyone, well it's finally happened....after almost 4 years, I've updated the forum.....hopefully with this new and improved software I'll be able to cut down on the amount of spam that features on the site, so there'll be a bit less in the way of links to random russian casinos, popcorn, overly endowed gents etc etc that we've all been enjoying recently....

Initially you'll notice that the colours and graphics may be a bit odd and some of the site messages are a bit "generic", but I'm getting to it, honest, it's just hard to spend that much time indoors with the concrete dry and the sun shining you know!

Thanks all, hopefully there's no eye damage caused...

If you were using an avatar in your profile, you may need to choose another, as the old ones appear to have gone missing in the update....but the new ones are nicer anyway! (I think)

To change yours, simply login, go to "profile", then "forum profile information" within modify profile, as below;



Then either take your pic from what's there (I'm updating it with new images every now & then), or add a link to your own custom 65 pix x 65 pix image, as a .jpg or .gif file...



As you're there, you can add a custom signature to all your posts, links to your site, location and birthday etc - don't forget to click the "change profile" button to save your changes.
