Secret bowl
« on: May 12, 2006, 04:23:27 PM »

Does anyone remember the hidden bowl that was in the grounds of a nursery school(could only be setioned at weekends)  just off of Church St (market) near the Edgware Rd?
We used to scale a wall with the Harrow lot to get in. It was made of the same stuff as Meanwhile 2 and Kennington, twas a perfect square. I heard a rumour ages ago that some rich kid had his daddy buy it and put it on the grounds of there mansion somewhere?
Is it still there ?
And who or what company made those block things?

I've often wondered about that place, did I actually go there or did I dream it!
Only went once but it was great, I think you're right about it being made by the same people who did Meanwhile two and Kennington.
Who were they?
Is there any other leftovers still going?
Mmmmmmm

The one in vauxhall was similar to kennington (from memory) but without the bowled corners. It was on a housing estate off the battersea bridge road. Rough as f*ck BITD...

Meanwhile over in the "Lorne Edwards" thread:

James, you may be able to help answer a question that has bugged many a person over the years...."who made the sectional skateparks at Meanwhile 2, Kennington, Edgware Road...?"

Was it his company and if so, do the moulds or blueprints still exist, as if they do, there'd be a bunch being delivered to smiling people in their backgardens all over the world!

Dreaming of a little Harrow Road here in Canada....
